Summer Fest: Northern Sinfonia
The Auckland Project are excited to announce their first ever Summer Fest event, featuring a range of live music, theatre and outdoor cinema. On this night, we welcome Royal Northern Sinfonia! The orchestra of the North East will be joined by saxophonist Jess Gillam, who shot to fame after winning BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2016, this performance will feature an eclectic array of music for saxophone and strings that spans four centuries. There’s stately Baroque concertos, elegant French songs, 21st century minimalism and even a bit of David Bowie!
